On a Tight Budget: How to Surprise Him on Father’s Day

June 15th. Father’s Day. We’re on a tight budget but had to think of something to give tribute to the best dad in the world!

Here’s how we did it (at around P1,000):

1. Brought cupcakes at Bohol‘s very own, Jojie’s Bakeshop. Each cupcake costs P4.00. Cut out some letters (“Happy Fathers Day”) and placed it on top of each delicious cupcake.

2. Prepared and cooked lunch. My specialty “pansit bihon” and fried chicken (which the kids always loved).

3. Got him a gift as well. It’s a good thing that Mossimo shirts were on sale which I got at less than P500.00. Thank God for sales!

4. Lastly, when he arrived, the kids and I shouted “Happy Father’s Day” … with hugs and kisses, don’t forget! (No pictures, though)
